We developed a social media strategy based on work the graphic design team developed, as well as a strategy for full season engagement. That engagement began by highlighting a game each week featuring teams that could play in the New Orleans Bowl. Over the years they had become cluttered with retail products. Consistency in the layout and design was absent; each one looked different across the country. After a brainstorming session with the client, we developed a design and branding filter. Participants have five minutes to tell a true story based on the theme of the month. Every month a new theme is announced, requiring a full set of digital collateral for the event. The original concepts were based on the theme of the event, much like a theater promotes its shows. The poster is created first, then broken down into the images and information needed for Facebook and ads on local websites. Certain elements are maintained, such as the logo and the formating. They did a comprehensive study and wanted a visual way to represent their results. The Belmont Eastmont Hearthstone Community Council (BEHCC) collaborated with the Belmont Business Association (BBA) to bring back the long lost summer tradition. The poster features an image of Belmont from the 1950s, when that area of Dayton was thriving.
